Memo to Employees

It has come to our attention that employees have been downloading search engines other than Microsoft Explorer, leading to gremlin-like appearances of Google Chrome eating up our confidential hospital programs like pac-men and making them inaccessible. One employee reported downloading Chrome while using her blog which is also a forbidden activity at work. Her computer had to be shut down for half a day while IT employees spent hours searching every corner of her computer for Chrome and its various self-made copies and extensions and her patients had to be rescheduled.

Remember: Downloading internet programs to your hospital computers is like inviting a sociopath disguised as a friendly drug salesman into your patients' records. Blogs used during illegal downloads will be confiscated.

Sociopathic Google and their disingenuous algorithms. Do not infect company computers with them.

Is this a common problem?

I think I am the only one IS has not yelled at about downloading Chrome onto a company computer. Which sucks because I actually rather like using it.
